Ford Territory (2011-2018) SZ 2.7L V6 Turbo Diesel Manta Exhaust

Are you wanting to upgrade the sounds and performance of your Ford Territory? An exhaust is one of the best ways to improve the sound, and transform the driving experience of your vehicle. This high quality, Australian made Manta exhaust system for the Territory replaces the factory exhaust system, including the headers off the engine*. It gives some good gains, particularly removing the restrictions of the standard system, adding responsiveness down low in the rev range. The system is available with a large straight-through muffler, which keeps the exhaust noise level close to the factory levels, with no annoying drone inside the cab. We've also got other options to give you more noise, including hotdog and pipe-only options for a much louder note. The mandrel bends and straight through mufflers on our exhaust system ensure the highest possible flow, and along with that comes maximum performance and fuel economy. Choose from your choice of materials, being aluminized steel, or 409 grade stainless steel.

Ford's first diesel Territory, the SZ model, has under its hood the 2.7L V6 turbo diesel engine from the Land Rover Discovery. Producing 140kw and 440nm, this motor propels the Territory towards 100km/h in a not-so-fast 10.7 seconds.

A major complaint from Territory drivers is that they have a lot of lag. This is where the Manta exhaust system comes in. The turbo back 3″ Manta system replaces the entire factory exhaust system with a free-flowing mandrel bent setup that maximises the flow of the exhaust gases. This allows the turbo to spool faster, and operate cooler, leading to decreased lag, improved 0-100 times, more peak power, and increased torque down low.

Towing, overtaking, and take-offs from standstill are all made easier by the fitment of the Manta 3″ exhaust.

Fuel economy is generally improved, as the engine is able to operate at a higher level of efficiency. The exhaust also releases the fantastic deep exhaust note of the V6 - something that is completely hidden by the factory exhaust system. Of course, the two high-flow mufflers in the system ensure there is no drone inside the cabin at any point throughout the rev range.

To take advantage of the upgraded exhaust system, we're also pleased to offer the Sting ECU Remap for the Territory. This allows for a whole host of parameters to be adjusted, delivering up to 35% improvement in horsepower and torque, and 20% improvment in economy - far better results than any plug in chip (including our own!). This tuning process is done completely in house, allowing the ECU remap to be custom written to suit your requirements.
